Terms of Service

What the service does

Every Guilder reads bank statements you provide, turns them into transactions, categorises them and shows you summaries of your spending. It does not connect to your bank, move money, or act on your behalf.

Not financial advice

Everything the app shows is informational. Parsing and categorisation can be wrong, especially with unusual statement layouts or scanned documents. Always check the figures against your own bank statements before making a decision. Nothing here is financial, tax or legal advice.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity under your account. Use a real email address you control so you can recover access. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

Acceptable use

• Only upload statements and documents you are entitled to use.
• Do not attempt to access another user's data, or to bypass authentication or rate limits.
• Do not use the service to break the law, or to process data you have no right to process.
• Do not scrape, resell or automate the service in ways that degrade it for others.

Your content

Your statements and transactions remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store and process them so the service can work for you. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Availability

The service is provided as is, without warranties. Features may change and access may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We aim to keep your data safe but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions taken on the basis of figures shown in the app. Keep your own records.

Ending your use

You can delete your data or stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access to an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Curacao, and disputes will be handled by the courts there, unless mandatory local law where you live says otherwise.
